PCB Assembly Sub-Contract
BRIEF
A client that develops and manufactures downhole electromechanical intervention tools and wireline logging hardware commissioned Traction Solutions to sub-contract for their PCB assembly. The boards produced are an essential part of their tunnelling and telemetry equipment.
PROCESS
The client free-issued the boards and supplied us with the design brief, parts list and assembly notes. From these designs the team assembled, using both surface mount and conventional through hole methods. We also assembled an RF screening enclosure on the boards.
RESULTS
The success of this contract has meant we are now looking at taking on more of component purchasing and ramping up volumes.
