External Welder Control Panel

OVERVIEW

We have designed and developed many pieces of manufacturing equipment to meet the requirements of one of our construction clients. Our most recent project is an external welder control panel for pipeline construction.

PRODUCT

The welder can be programmed using different parameters required for various stages of the welding process, and allows the welder to be configured to different pipe sizes and welding technologies.

DESIGN

The project included software, hardware and circuit design. The build process involved PCB assembly, box build, cabling, and full manufacturing. It required a mix of surface mount and conventional through hole technology, with wiring to controls and connectors, and mechanical assembly for device heatsinking.
