Integrated Wiring Centres for Underfloor Heating
BRIEF
An underfloor heating and integrated renewables specialist approached Traction Solutions to design and build wiring centres to use with their wet underfloor heating controls. The initial product brief detailed their general requirements, we then designed the circuits and PCB layouts. From this we were able to create a prototype which, once approved we went on to manufacture.
DESIGN
The PCB assembly required conventional through hole technique, with wave soldering technique applied as it offered consistency and speed for the larger quantity required for the project.
PRODUCT
The final product are sold direct to their customers on their website. The range includes an 8 Zone UFH wiring centre for use with hard-wired dial and thermostats, and an underfloor heating manifold wiring centre.
