Electronic Assembly Technician
Traction Solutions is looking to recruit experienced and reliable hand solderers to join our skilled assembly team. You’ll need to be capable of handling all aspects of hand soldering, from standard PTH through to SMT rework.
Key skills required for this position:
ability to quickly and accurately hand solder PTH parts
ability to hand solder and re-work fine pitch SMT components to a minimum standard of IPC Class II
conscientious, hardworking and polite with a desire to learn new skills and to support other members of the team when required
willing to learn program and operation of selective solder machine
sound knowledge of SMT component types, package sizes, and IPC quality standards
ability to work from assembly drawings and build packs and to complete production documentation
comfortable following standard procedures
Candidates who possess exceptional PTH solder skills but lack experience of SMT soldering, will be considered.

Jobs are available on a part-time, flexible hour status, based in our Devizes factory.
A soldering test will form part of the interview process.
